Questions, answered.

Who can open a card?

Only wallets holding a Zalien NFT. Each Zalien carries exactly one lifetime card seat — once a Zalien has been used to open a card, its seat is spent permanently, even if the NFT changes hands.

How much does it cost?

The opening fee is $10, paid in FTC. When you request a quote, the FTC amount is locked for 10 minutes so market moves during checkout don't affect what you pay.

Why does my transfer need a comment?

The order code in the transfer comment is how we match your payment to your order on-chain. A transfer without the correct comment cannot be matched automatically — if that happens, contact support with your transaction hash.

How do I top up my card?

Every card comes with its own USDT/USDC deposit address, issued by the card provider. Send funds directly to that address and the balance lands on your card. Your money goes straight to the issuer — 420Labs never holds or routes your balance.

Where can I spend the card?

It's a standard virtual payment card — usable for online purchases anywhere the card network is accepted. Availability of specific merchants and regions depends on the card issuer.

I bought a Zalien on the secondary market. Can I open a card?

Yes — if that Zalien's card seat hasn't been used by a previous owner. The apply page shows the seat status of every Zalien in your wallet before you pay anything.

What happens to the FTC I pay?

Opening fees flow into the FTC ecosystem policy (burn / treasury). Details are published by 420Labs — the short version: every card opened takes FTC out of circulation.

Do I need to do KYC?

No. There's no identity check, no documents, no waiting for approval. Your Zalien is your pass and crypto does the rest — you fund the card in USDT/USDC and spend it in everyday currency. It's the fast way to pay, and a private one: you stay anonymous from wallet to checkout.
